Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Security Officer to join our team in Glasgow. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our people, assets, and clients by providing a high standard of service on site.

Shifts and Requirements
* 42 hours per week
* 4 shifts on, 4 days off
* Day Shift 06:00–18:00
* Night Shift 18:00–06:00
* £13.45 per hour

Responsibilities
* Ensure the security and safety of the site by conducting regular patrols and monitoring activity across all areas
* Manage access control by carrying out identification and vehicle checks for staff, visitors, and contractors
* Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or security concerns in line with site procedures
* Complete clear and accurate incident reports and maintain up-to-date security records
* Operate security systems, including CCTV and control room equipment, in accordance with site protocols
* Provide a professional and approachable service, assisting staff, visitors, and contractors when required
Qualifications
* A valid and current SIA Security Guard licence
* A recognised First Aid qualification
* Previous experience working in a security role or similar environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence when interacting with a range of people
* The ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in high-pressure or emergency situations
* Basic IT skills, including confidence using PCs and the willingness to learn site-specific systems
* A full UK driving licence
