Job Opportunity: Senior Accounts Assistant
Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is working with a privately owned manufacturer to recruit a Permanent Senior Accounts Assistant.
Key Details:
* Salary: £30,000 to £33,000
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
* Immediate start preferred
Requirements:
* Experience with SAGE and XERO
* Part-qualification or working towards ACA/ACCA/CTA/CIMA
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Ownership of Sales Ledger
* Supplier management and payments
* General reporting as required
* Bank reconciliations
* Knowledge of stock control
* Handling financial queries
* Budget and cash flow monitoring/forecasting
* Weekly debtors, creditors, and cash flow forecasting
* Preparation of monthly profit & loss statements and balance sheets
* Financial report management
* Quarterly VAT return preparation and review
* Year-end preparation
* Payroll data collation
* Liaising with pension providers and updating pension records, including auto-enrollment and online reporting to HMRC
The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Sage, or Xero
Additional preferences:
* Supporting a Financial Controller experience
* Ability to start ASAP
