Overview
Repair and renew kitchen units, work tops and decorative finishes. Repair, replace or fit ironmongery to doors and windows. Repair or renew timber and UPVC window frames. Reglaze timber fencing and gates. Multi‑trade operative capable of completing works in other construction trades including plumbing, patch plastering and groundwork.
Responsibilities
* Rip out domestic heating systems, working alongside qualified engineers.
* Prepare subbase in preparation for ASHP installation.
* Plaster patching.
* Repairs to brickwork/building fabric.
* Loft insulation and door undercuts.
Qualifications & Skills
* Apprenticeship and/or qualification (NVQ L2/L3).
* Experience of working as a Multi Trade Joiner/Plumber/Plasterer.
* Competent in all aspects of the joinery and/or plumbing trade disciplines.
* Plastering trade discipline (desirable).
* Ability to carry out multi-skill trades, and core joinery or plumbing; experience working within a social housing environment (desirable).
* Driving licence is essential.
* Skilled workers will hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness and have their own tools.
