The Gilbert Bain Hospital Reception serves as the first place of contact for visitors and patients but is also a vital service centre, providing essential support to the hospital and wider community teams. The department plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely responses, effective communication, and the coordination of resources.
As a vital department The Main Hospital Reception is staffed 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual who is willing and able to work morning, evening and night shifts in accordance with the departmental rota. The 24 hour period is divided into 3 shifts, the timing of each shift types is shown in the table below.
Previous reception/secretarial experience and skills are desirable, however in house training will be provided.
* You will initially be appointed at Band 2 level (Salary range £25,694 £27,900 per annum pro-rata) rising to Band 3 once successful completion of competencies.
