Description
A HSE Advisor (Regional) will:
Advise and guide all staff on issues related to health, safety and environment.
Travel often between various Derbyshire and Lincolnshire sites.
Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
Provide COSHH assessments where required and ensure effectiveness of Supply Chain documentation.
Deliver training sessions on health and safety procedures.
Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Collaborate with site managers and supervisors to reinforce safety measures.
Monitor fire precautions to ensure compliance.
Report on health and safety observations and suggest improvements.
Involved in the investigation and reporting of all incidents.
Profile
A successful HSE Advisor (Regional) should have:
A strong background (5 years or more) in HSE advisory roles.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CDM and Hard Facilities Management experience.
The ability to conduct risk assessments effectively.
Experience in delivering health and safety training.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
NEBOSH qualified.
IOSH (desirable).
Defence, Healthcare or high-risk environment experience (desirable).
A background in the Building and Construction sector.
