Our client is a well-funded, founder-led sports-tech startup building real-time systems for processing and analysing live content with modern AI tooling. Small team, high-trust environment, solving complex engineering problems.
As a Full-Stack Engineer you'll own end-to-end delivery of real-time video, data, and AI analysis on their sports content platform.
Core Stack:
* Backend: Java 21, Kafka, Postgres, Docker, Terraform
* Frontend: SolidJS, TypeScript
* Infra: AWS (Serverless & Containers), Confluent
* AI Ops: Heavy daily use of AI Coding Assistant (Claude Code)

Must-Haves
* Polyglot mindset - read and review Java 21 (Node, Python, Go experience welcome)
* Frontend experience in SolidJS preferred, or React/Vue/Svelte with willingness to switch
* Proven experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.)
* Already using AI tools daily for productivity gains
* Write clean, tested, documented code with security and performance in mind
* Comfortable in fast-moving, iterative environments
