About Our Client
Our client is a market leading retail business, based in Skelmersdale. This company really do put their employees at the heart of everything they do, and they are now looking for a talented HR Advisor to join the Head of HR in building a successful HR function.
Job Description
The HR Advisor will be responsible for:
3. Building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure understanding of policies and procedures
4. Writing and implementing policies across employee lifecycle
5. Dealing and advising on a wide range of ER cases including absence, conduct, capability and grievances
6. Delivering training sessions on HR related topics
7. Drafting up invites, outcomes and supporting with note taking where required
8. Management of contracts and new starter paperwork including right to work documentation
9. Analysing people data around attrition, recruitment and sickness
10. Leading HR related projects
The Successful Applicant
The successful HR Advisor will have:
11. A proven track record within a similar role
12. CIPD L5 or above (desirable)
13. A strong knowledge of UK employment law
14. Confident in managing a variety of employee relations cases
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
