Job Summary:
The role of Technical Coordinator is a critical position within the organization, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The successful candidate will work closely with the food technologists to source and evaluate products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate effectively with category and regional food technologists to support the sourcing of safe and high-quality food and beverage products.
* Allocate workload to the relevant technologist to complete and record all output in a clear manner.
* Ensure that artwork labels, base cards, and meal sleeves for new product launches are allocated and filed effectively.
* Process NCR reports from customers, working with the relevant food technologist to investigate thoroughly and ensure that corrective and preventative actions are recorded.
Requirements:
* A degree in food science/technology or a related science.
* Previous experience of working in the travel sector in a quality/technical role of a food manufacturer or flight caterer.
* Good understanding of GFSI standards, HACCP/TACCP/VACCP, and labelling legislation.
* Basic knowledge of EU/UK food safety regulations, FDA/USDA/FSANZ/global legislation welcomed.
