We are seeking a warm, dedicated, and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Plumstead, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a nursery class, delivering high-quality early years provision that supports children’s personal, social, emotional, and academic development. The Role
As the Nursery Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. You will create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment where children feel confident to explore, play, and learn.
You will observe and assess children’s progress, using this information to plan next steps and provide appropriate support for each child. Working closely with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues, you will ensure that every child’s needs are understood and met.
Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development will be a key focus of the role, alongside developing early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with Early Years experience
* Have strong knowledge of the EYFS framework

* Be dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
