Workshop / Mobile Plant Fitter

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop / Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established and busy plant operation based in Inverness. This is a key role supporting the inspection, servicing, and repair of a wide range of construction plant and equipment, both in the workshop and on-site.
The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a vital part in ensuring plant equipment is maintained to a high standard, supporting operational reliability and customer service. You will work collaboratively within a skilled team while also being capable of working independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect, service, and repair a broad range of plant machinery
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in line with manufacturer schedules
* Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently in a busy environment
* Maintain high standards of workmanship with a “right first time” approach
* Work flexibly between workshop-based and mobile duties as required
* Contribute positively to team culture and operational performance
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in plant maintenance and repair
* NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent experience/qualification)
* Own tools suitable for the role
* Strong understanding of health & safety practices
* Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
* Willingness to learn, develop skills, and progress within the business
* Strong team ethic with the ability to work independently when required
