Job Details:
1. Pay: £15.35 per hour
2. Hours of Work: 40–60 hours over a 5 day week
3. Duration: Temp To Perm
Job Role: As a HGV 1 Driver, you will be responsible for operating a range of waste and recycling vehicles including artic, skip, hook lift and curtain-sided HGVs to meet business requirements. The HGV 1 Driver will complete planned collection routes, ensuring the safe and efficient collection of waste and recyclable materials across the local catchment area. This HGV 1 Driver role requires a strong commitment to road safety, compliance and customer service while representing the business professionally.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
4. Previous experience as a HGV 1 Driver
5. Valid Class 1 HGV Licence
6. Up-to-date CPC qualification
7. Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
8. Hook lift experience
9. Experience working within waste management or recycling operations
