About the Company:
We're partnered with an exciting & growing medical company based in the Northwest of England. They design, install & manufacture healthcare & medical equipment for operating theatres, critical care units, and primary care settings. It's an exciting time for the business after a recent acquisition from a market leader. This is already reflecting through a focus on R&D, alongside plentiful new opportunities to develop up and across the business.
About the Role: Project Manager (Medical Equipment Installation Projects)
Joining their Northwest-based team, you'll take on the role of a Project Manager. Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll be responsible for managing our client's installation projects, from conception to release.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for managing medical equipment installation projects from conception to release, including commissioning & handover. Projects can be valued anywhere from £20,000 up to £1,500,000.
· Manage installation teams, including on-site support to ensure installations are being completed in good time & to a quality standard.
· Liaise with customers on-site as required. Speak with stakeholders & shareholders to provide project updates.
· Outline the cost, scope & schedule of installation projects.
· Monitor project progress, making any adjustments necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
· Be happy to travel across the UK as required in order to both meet with customers & support the installation teams.
Requirements
· Minimum of 2 years' experience, either in a mechanically biassed engineering role or as a project manager.
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
· Excellent communication skills & management skills.
· Full UK Driving license, happy with travel as required.
Package:
· Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)
