About the Role
Position: IT Engineer
Location: Halewood, UK / Onsite
The role operates on a rotating shift pattern:
1. 6am - 6pm x 2 days, then 6pm - 6am x 2 days, followed by 4 days off.
2. Alternatively, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts from 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm.

The Role
As an IT Engineer, you will handle hardware support and configuration for smart devices, PCs, printers, and more.
Key Responsibilities
* Support configuration of barcode scanners (Datalogic, Motorola, Honeywell, Intermec).
* Support configuration of barcode printers for shop floor and office (Zebra, Printronix, Intermec).
* Support configuration of various printers, including HP.
* Support configuration of smart devices such as MX2 / Motion and Dell Tablets.
* Configure PCs critical for shop floor and office.
* Coordinate with the towers team for end-user activities (AM, NW, DCH, EUS).
* Configure line-side devices, HMIs/MRTs, Dell Tablets/Touch Pads.
* Monitor plant floor applications, check logs, and handle monitoring tools.
Your Profile
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
* Understanding of hardware and software applications.
* Ability to monitor server status and system health.
* Knowledge of Windows Server and manufacturing shop floor devices.
* Network and device troubleshooting skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Windows Server experience.
Work Experience
* System Engineer role or similar.
