Contract Azure Cloud Operations Engineer - NPPV3 + SC Cleared

Location: Southampton (5 Days/Week On-Site)

Duration: 2 months

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Day Rate: Negotiable

Due to the sensitive nature of the data involved, candidates must hold valid NPPV3 and SC clearance (within 6 months of leaving previous role).

Our client is looking for an experience Azure Cloud Operations Engineer to join the team to work on n a high-impact, time-sensitive project focused on data retention within their SaaS platform. This is a hands-on, in-office role based in Southampton offering you the chance to work at the cutting edge of cloud security and compliance in support of UK law enforcement.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be working alongside the Cloud Operations Lead to define, test, and validate data retention rules based on complex, customer-specific logic. This includes reviewing outputs and investigating anomalies using custom-built tools and Azure services.

Essential Skills & Experience:

1. Extensive experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure
2. Proficient with Azure Service Bus, NSGs, SQL Server, Blob Storage, Key Vaults, Managed Identities
3. Strong PowerShell scripting, including Bicep and ARM templates
