An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a leading company within the aerospace sector. This role requires a background in precision sheet metal fabrication, including TIG welding and press brake operation, producing high-quality components for aerospace applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Fabricating and assembling precision sheet metal parts to aerospace specifications.
*
Performing TIG welding on thin-gauge materials to a high standard.
*
Operating press brakes to accurately form and shape sheet metal components.
*
Reading and working from detailed technical drawings and engineering schematics.
*
Conducting self-inspection to ensure parts meet strict aerospace quality standards.
*
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with aerospace industry expectations.
Requirements:

Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication within aerospace or a similar precision industry.
*
Proficient in TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and/or other aerospace-grade materials.
*
Skilled in setting and operating press brakes for forming complex components.
*
Ability to interpret and work accurately from technical and engineering drawings.
*
Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset.
*
Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100 or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential.
*
A positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
