Project / Senior Project Manager – Live Events
Healthcare & Life Sciences | Hybrid (Stevenage + UK/International Travel)

IMPACCT is a specialist global event management agency working with some of the world's leading pharmaceutical and life sciences companies. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a driven Project / Senior Project Manager to join our live events team and help deliver exceptional experiences for our healthcare clients.

The role
You'll take ownership of client projects from initial brief through to reconciliation, working across a range of live events in the healthcare and life sciences sector. Depending on your experience, you'll either be looking to expand your knowledge as a Project Manager level or join us as an established Senior Project Manager, leading large, complex events and being a trusted partner to key clients.
You'll:
* Lead and manage events end-to-end – from concept and proposal through to onsite delivery and post-event reporting
* Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a proactive and confident main point of contact
* Work as both project lead or support senior team members on larger, complex projects
* Research, source and present event formats and venues, overseeing junior support where needed
* Prepare and present clear, credible and creative proposals
* Own project budgets and finances, reporting regularly to senior team members
* Negotiate contracts and terms to secure best value, tracking savings and performance
* Manage supplier relationships, travel and logistics, delegate management, documentation and full delivery
* Ensure full internal, supplier and HCP compliance, including reporting
* Create and manage events in Cvent (self-training supported where required)
* Support and mentor less experienced team members
* Manage your own time, project plans and client timelines to ensure flawless delivery
About you
You're an experienced event professional who enjoys responsibility, variety and pace. You're equally at home in front of clients, working with suppliers, or rolling up your sleeves onsite.
You'll bring:
* Significant agency experience in events, ideally within healthcare / life sciences
* Proven experience leading both large and small events, with direct client contact
* Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
* Ability to juggle multiple projects and remain calm and organised under pressure
* Immaculate attention to detail and excellent financial management skills, including complex budgets
* Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills and a keen eye for accuracy
* Ideally, working knowledge of Cvent and SpotMe (or a clear desire and aptitude to learn)
* Flexibility to travel in the UK and internationally is essential
* A proactive, positive "make it happen" attitude and genuine passion for your career
* An interest in the technical/production side of events and willingness to work closely with our IMPACCT LIVE team

* Salary: £39,000–£48,000 depending on experience
* Full-time, permanent role
* Hybrid working after probation (minimum two days per week in our modern central Stevenage office)
