Data Protection Manager (Remote) 2-3 days a week.

This part-time contract role required an experienced Data Protection Manager to provide data privacy & protection support across a broad range of business activities. This is a hands-on role working closely with the Group DPO and a small UK based data protection team and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and advise on DPIAs and
* Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), identifying risks and recommending mitigations
* Maintain and enhance the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA), ensuring accuracy and completeness
* Conduct audits and investigations, particularly around access controls and employee data
* Review and update data protection policies, procedures, and guidance
* Respond to privacy queries, providing clear, practical advice to stakeholders
* Support Data Subject Rights (DSR) requests, including data review and redaction
* Assist with data breach investigations and incident reporting
* Review data protection clauses in contracts and recommend improvements
* Contribute to training materials and awareness initiatives
* Support global data controller/DPO registrations and privacy research
* Provide input into projects (e.g. system rollouts, vendor onboarding) from a privacy perspective
* Prepare reports, statistics, and presentation materials for governance forums
About You
* A data protection/privacy professional with extensive relevant experience
* Strong knowledge of UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and other global frameworks
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
