As a Payroll Implementation Consultant, you are responsible for helping our clients in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (Initiate, Define, Build, Integration, Validate, Deploy and Adopt). You will work on multiple payroll projects across a variety of payroll software platforms. Project responsibilities include facilitating client data gathering, supporting system and employee configuration, managing and setting client expectations, and communicating any risks and issues to both the client and the Managed Service Consultant. In addition, you may also be responsible for running a small number of managed service payrolls.

* Work along side the Customer Success Manager to identify any areas for growth & up-sell on your project delivery
* Ensure prompt identification and communication of any risks or issues to line managers and customers.
* Work with external partners, developing and maintaining strong relationships, and keeping up to date with partner software developments
Responsibilities
* Support/Lead client meetings, discovery workshops and weekly project calls.
* Assist/Advise clients to plan for, prepare and cleanse data prior to migration between system.
* Configuration of Payroll to meet client's business requirements and needs based on configuration documents.
* Full End-to-End implementation process – This includes: Discovery, Data Migration, HR/Finance system Integration, Parallel Run, Reconciliation
* Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on all payroll projects.
* Responding to customer queries and provide technical support during the implementation process.
* Assist in customer Parallel phase as and when required, addressing and resolving any issues identified in a timely manner
* Ability to engage with multiple projects and clients at the same time, and manage project prioritise.
* Attend internal and external project meetings, provide status on progress status and project deliverables.
* Offer advice on configuration options and impact (advising on best practice).
* Have knowledge and Awareness across both HR and Payroll functions but with a clear focus on Payroll
* Provide advice on configuration options and impact to clients and the team, leading discussions on product interfaces.
* Proactively ensure the highest standards of professionalism, service, and accuracy for team and project work when assigned.
Essential Requirements
* CIPP Qualified
* Experience in Payroll Implementation configuration experience – Define to Deploy
* Ability to understand changes to legislation and how this may impact a client's use of the solution
* Experience with software in a SaaS (Software as a Service)/computing environment
* Confident ownership of project life-cycles and methods, evidentially proven
* Contextual awareness of HR and Payroll across multiple sectors
* Experience in performing project initiation/scoping sessions
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Time Management and organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure
* Confident with data migration
* Solution design, implementation, parallel runs and client training support experience
* Communicative fluency, both verbal and in documentation
* Ability to lead and facilitate client workshops and adhoc sessions
* Strong analytical thinking and openness to learning
* Excitement about flexibility, independence, initiative and knowledge-sharing in your job
* Commitment to clients, team and a Phase 3 role
* Ability and willingness to travel if required although client travel is minimal
