Circa: Salary - Salary Plan, 55,000.00 GBP Annual The Royal Society of Chemistry is seeking an experienced Organisation Design Specialist to join us on a 12 month contract. You will be joining our People and Culture team during an exciting period of transformation across the whole organisation. About the Role We're establishing internal Organisation Design capability to support our growth strategy while maintaining efficiency. You'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing our future operating model and organisational structure. We are looking for someone who will bring Enterprise TOM expertise and the critical ability to design the processes, frameworks, and ways of working that will contribute to making our new operating model sustainable. This position offers the opportunity to provide hands-on expertise across the full programme lifecycle—from analysis and design through to implementation—while building internal capability within our team. What You'll Do Analyse complex organisational challenges and design effective solutions for our Target Operating Model Develop high-quality Organisation Design solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders Create and deliver comprehensive implementation plans, managing interdependencies and timelines Build organisational capability through stakeholder engagement, mentorship, and knowledge sharing Provide expert guidance on change management and facilitate seamless transitions Manage stakeholder relationships and advise senior leaders on Organisation Design What We're Looking For Proven experience delivering successful Target Operating Model and Organisation Model programmes Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights Exceptional communication and influencing skills at all levels Collaborative approach with adaptability to work in evolving environments A tenacious individual that can operate effectively at all levels of the organisation Relevant degree in Organisation Development, Business Administration, HR, or related field (desirable) About us The RSC is a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to advance chemical sciences.
