 
        
        We're looking for a Head of Community to lead and develop our consultant lawyer community - now 300+ strong and rapidly expanding. This is a strategic and hands‑on role for someone who loves building professional communities, thrives in a regulated or complex environment, and knows how to balance structure, communication, and engagement. You'll own our community strategy end‑to‑end: from defining the vision and goals, to leading day‑to‑day communications and developing scalable systems, tools, and rituals that foster connection, trust, and advocacy.
Community Strategy & Leadership
 * Define and own the long‑term community strategy aligned with Lawhive's mission and growth plans.
 * Set clear objectives and KPIs for engagement, retention, and satisfaction across community touchpoints.
 * Develop and maintain a content and communications calendar, ensuring consistency and transparency across Slack, email, and events.
 * Partner cross‑functionally with Legal Ops, Product, Marketing, and Leadership to ensure community insights shape product and policy decisions.
 * Represent the voice of the community in internal discussions, helping the company stay close to the lawyer experience.
Community Operations & Engagement
 * Be the visible and trusted point of contact for the lawyer community - ensuring every consultant feels informed, supported, and valued.
 * Lead day‑to‑day communications across Slack, email updates, and virtual drop‑ins.
 * Curate and share timely updates, resources, and opportunities with clarity and warmth.
 * Design and deliver virtual and in‑person events to strengthen connection and engagement.
 * Manage community challenges, competitions, and recognition initiatives to drive participation.
 * Own feedback loops - collecting, synthesizing, and sharing actionable insights with internal teams.
Systems & Scale
 * Build scalable systems and playbooks for community management, onboarding, and engagement.
 * Identify and implement tools to streamline communication, automation, and analytics.
 * Cross‑functional collaboration: Lawyer Success and Support, product, marketing and legal Ops.
Qualifications & Experience
 * Experience in community management within the legal sector.
 * Strong execution skills: You're comfortable rolling up your sleeves and being the sole operator initially.
 * Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
 * Ability to build trust and foster open, transparent relationships with a professional audience.
 * Comfortable working cross‑functionally to gather inputs and drive consistency.
