This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented IP & Technology Lawyer to join a highly regarded London-based team operating at the forefront of innovation, complex corporate deals and cutting-edge regulatory issues.
The Firm & Team
The firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Group provides the full range of non-contentious IP, IT and data protection legal services. The team advises on large-scale corporate/M&A and private equity transactions, stand-alone IP and tech projects, including IP joint ventures, technology collaborations, AI licensing deals, major IT contracts and data centre arrangements, and a broad spectrum of advisory matters covering IP protection, commercialisation and technology/data regulation.
The group advises a diverse and high-profile client base spanning financial sponsors, major technology companies, large corporates and emerging businesses. You will join a dynamic, well-supported team that values technical excellence, collaboration and continuous professional development.
The Role
You will work on a wide variety of matters, including:
* Advising on IP, technology and data protection aspects of corporate/M&A and private equity transactions
* Leading stand-alone IP/Tech/Data matters such as IP JVs, licensing arrangements, technology collaborations and significant IT contracts
* Supporting clients on data protection issues, commercial IP matters and regulatory questions relating to technology, content and data
* Drafting and negotiating stand-alone agreements (experience with TSAs is advantageous)
* Contributing to thought leadership, including internal and external publications, and attending key industry and regulatory events

About You
* 2–4 years’ PQE in the London market (or equivalent experience from a common law jurisdiction), although all levels will be considered
* Experience with IP, technology and data aspects of corporate transactions
* Ability to advise on stand-alone IP/Tech/Data matters and commercial agreements
* Strong technical skills, a genuine interest in technology and data regulation, and a commitment to staying current with industry developments
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach
