For over 25 years, we have been working in partnership with our clients, devising and delivering experiential campaigns for the world’s most ambitious brands in the digital and retail space. We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to play a valuable part in our mission to create great consumer experiences which drive brand loyalty. We work across multiple sectors including FMCG, health and beauty, luxury goods, retail and technology.
The role is based in Bedford and its focus is to assist the Warehouse Manager and Team Leaders with the day to day running of the warehouse, to ensure the safe storage, inventory, pick & packing and delivery deadlines are met, and the warehouse is a safe environment to work in.
Key accountabilities include:
1. Assist in planning coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods.
2. Sign for goods received into the warehouse, update stock system, advise Campaign Managers of the delivery.
3. Check and inspect goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality.
4. Produce a work plan each day and prioritise tasks.
5. Liaise with Campaign Managers, Field Support Managers, Suppliers and Transport Companies.
6. Contact courier companies to coordinate the dispatch and delivery of goods
7. Load and unload goods from company and third-party vehicles.
8. Organise elements to pick & pack, accurately update stock system.
9. Operate company vehicles when necessary.
10. Produce delivery notes / consignment labels using third party portals.
11. Produce store notices.
12. Support a clean, safe warehouse working environment for all staff to work in, remove hazardous products from site in line with safety regulations.
13. Support the Field Support team, this may involve working off site
Requirements
14. Some previous experience of working in a warehouse environment
15. Understand material / stock management techniques and inventory control methods and procedures
16. Able to lift and move boxes, heavy packages and elements without difficulty and carry out tasks as directed
17. Ability to work co-operatively within a team
18. Experience following standard operating procedures and working in a methodical and tidy manner
19. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
20. Good understanding of both the spoken and written English Language
21. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, and other specialist stock tracking software - training will be provided)
22. Understanding of Health & Safety Regulations
23. Honesty, reliability and an organised, methodical 'can do' approach
24. Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends as business requiresForklift Licence - Counterbalance / Reach Truck
25. Eligibility to live and work in the UK
