We are seeking a passionate and reliable Chef to join our catering team at a vibrant Private School in Romsey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment with a great work-life balance.
?? Location: Romsey
?? Hours: Monday to Friday with one Weekend day per term for open days
?? Working Pattern:
Monday - Friday: 11:00 - 19:00
?? Contract: Term time only (44 weeks per year)
?? Overtime: Optional, available during non-term periods or special events
Salary is £16.48 per hour (£23,638)
What You'll Be Doing:
Preparing and serving nutritious meals for students and staff
Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met
Supporting menu planning and stock control
Working collaboratively with the catering team to deliver high-quality service
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a chef or cook (ideally in an education or similar setting)
A passion for food and service
Strong understanding of food safety and allergen management
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
