Senior Finance Coordinator - 3-month contract - Reading - 30 hours per week Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Finance Coordinator to join our clients finance team. The client will consider hybrid working for the right candidate. Responsibilities Respond to information requests by the Director of Finance Supporting the Director of Finance in producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts. Daily Bank reconciliations Take the lead role in purchase ledger duties to ensure appropriate and timely payments to suppliers Undertake the matching of delivery notes to invoices appropriate and code accordingly To verify the coding of invoices received from departments and process appropriately To input authorised invoices To maintain filing system for purchases invoices and bank payments To reconcile the suppliers' statements on a regular basis and distribute information appropriately JOB DESCRIPTION / PERSON SPECIFICATION To liaise with suppliers in cases of variances To ensure adherence to the authorisation process for invoices to maintain an accurate Aged Creditors Prepare and process same day payments as required Ensure adherence to the authorisation process for invoices, payments and receiptss Ensure adequate balances in Bank accounts to make payments and carry our transfers as required To provide cover for sales ledger invoices and queries where appropriate To provide support to Head of Finance to prepare monthly Management accounts Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
