Pastry Chef – Leading London Event Caterer

£50,000 + £5k bonus + lieu days (approx. 40–45 hrs p/w)
We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious London event catering company for an exceptional Pastry Chef to join their team in Battersea.
The Opportunity This is a rare chance to take ownership of the pastry section for one of London's most respected catering businesses. You'll produce high-quality, beautifully presented desserts and petits fours for a range of high-profile events and venues across the capital.
Events typically range between 300–500 covers, rarely exceeding 700.
Usually 1–2 events per week, predominantly Monday–Friday with the occasional weekend.
This is a standalone pastry role, supported by freelance/agency chefs when required.
You'll join a small, permanent brigade including the Head Chef and Sous Chef, with further expansion planned next year.
Candidate Profile We're looking for:
A strong pastry background with experience in events, banqueting or large-scale production.
High standards for quality, consistency and presentation .
Confidence working independently and managing pastry for multiple events.
A creative, collaborative approach with the ability to bring new ideas to the table.
