About the Role Our Recipe Dish site in Grimsby, a state-of-the-art CIP plant producing premium quality chilled soups and sauces. The site currently employs around 200 people, whilst turning over £30 million. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we couldn't do it without our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining site operations by overseeing engineering and maintenance repairs, handling breakdowns, and executing planned and preventative maintenance schedules. Key Responsibilities * Conduct Electrical and Mechanical repairs on-site, largely for Production Machinery. * Fixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors, as well as hydraulics and pneumatics. * Supporting the team with machinery breakdowns as needed and contributing to some maintenance planning. * Ensuring smooth operations across the site as part of a wider maintenance team. Key Skills/Qualifications * Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering techniques, * Time-Served Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance or relevant discipline, or NVQ level 3 as a minimum with related industry experience. * Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or fast-moving production machinery.
