Job Summary
You will have approximately 13 patient contacts in the morning session and 9 in the afternoon, with occasional professional calls. The rotations include on-the-day appointments, pre-bookable appointments, and E-Consults. You will also review patient results and Docman letters (up to 25 daily).
The practice encourages interested candidates to visit and meet the team.
Main Duties of the Job
* Deliver highly effective medical care to the entitled population.
* Provide services in line with the GMS contract.
* Prescribe generically, following local and national guidance.
* Manage long-term conditions effectively.
* Process administrative tasks promptly, including referrals and repeat prescriptions.
* Maintain accurate clinical records according to practice policies and guidance.
* Work collaboratively, sharing the workload equally.
* Follow clinical guidelines and participate in audits for best practice.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
* Take delegated responsibility for specific QOF areas.
* Attend and contribute to practice meetings as required.
About Us
We seek an experienced, proactive GP to join our semi-rural practice in Shropshire, serving approximately 4,500 patients. Our team includes 2 Partners, 2 salaried GPs, a clinical pharmacist, and experienced nurses. We are also a dispensing practice.
