Connect Appointments are recruiting a Waste Operative/FLT Driver to join our client's team within the Barnard Castle area. What's on offer? Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 Paid weekly at £13.54 per hour Working as a Waste Operative, your role is to effectively collect, process, sort and generally manage the customer's waste. As such, your day-to-day duties will include: Ensure routine collection and disposal of waste from around site Safe use of forklift truck Maintain good housekeeping and safe storage of all wastes Assist in the segregation, packaging and labelling of wastes Assist in the removal from site of all waste materials thereby reducing stock build up Complete daily vehicle and equipment check sheets as required Routine liaison with manager or supervisor on operational and safety aspects of work What we're looking for? You're adaptable, with good common sense You have a valid FLT Counterbalance licence You're keen and ambition to learn and progress Have a degree of fitness due to the nature of the role Interested?
