Maternity Cover - 12 Months - As Research Delivery Practice Educator for the NIHR South West Central Regional Research Delivery Network (SWC RRDN), you will provide support to the Workforce and People Senior Manager delivering research delivery clinical skills learning and development opportunities. This role will work with the Clinical Education team at UHBW and the RRDN Agile Research Delivery team to ensure that our research delivery clinical skills training offering is aligned, responsive, and fit for purpose. The Research Delivery Practice Educator will be involved in supporting RRDN's wider learning offer to the region and will play an important role in ensuring that the RRDN Agile Research Delivery Team is trained and competent. As an organisation we recognise the value of work‑life balance. Our team currently works in a hybrid way, with at least 40% of time face‑to‑face, this may vary depending on team and organisational need. As this role will be responsible for the delivery of learning using a blend of delivery methods, there may be a requirement to be on site at a variety of locations across our regional geography.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide subject matter expertise as appropriate in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of high‑quality, effective clinical learning and development
* Lead and effectively manage the provision of research delivery practice education and clinical skills improvement to ensure capability of the Agile Research Delivery Team
* Liaise with the Workforce and People Senior Manager to proactively inform the RDN understanding of regional workforce needs and actively contribute to the design and delivery of solutions
* Provide highly specialist advice on all aspects of the research process and research delivery practice, including expectations of clinical skills and required competencies across research delivery settings
* Work closely with the Agile Research Delivery Team to contribute to the assessment of new projects with special consideration to education and training needs, welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults
