£70k - £80k (depending on experience) plus car allowance and bonus
The opportunity:
Mackenzie Jones is delighted to have partnered with a fantastic FMCG business who are now looking for a Business Unit Controller for their Out of Home Channel.
Reporting into the Sales Director, the Business Unit Controller will provide strategic direction for the development and delivery of performance of the OOH channel. With a team of four, the successful candidate will lead, coach, and train the CDMS to support the delivery of targeted sales and profitability levels of the brand's products in the relevant category within their customers.
What will my key accountabilities be?
* Channel P&L accountability and delivery
* Delivery of key business metrics
* Realisation of EBIT, GP and net sales targets annually
* Delivery of market share targets within the customer
* Delivery of distribution targets
* Leading the CDMS to develop the strategic relationship within the OOH channel and customer base
* Ensure CDM team maximise trade spend utilization and management
* Lead team to identify and capture category sales opportunities within the Channel and Customer base
* Championing the category needs of the Channel internally and leading the development of a Strategic Customer Plan ( in line with the Customer and Brand Marketing Plan ) that enables FC to ‘win’ within the channel
Who will I be working with?
Senior Leadership team, internal brand and customer teams and customer base
A great candidate will have:
* A track record of people and Business Unit leadership
* A track record of working collaboratively with customers to deliver first class execution, top line sales growth and profit.
* Category product knowledge and insight driven solutions.
* Demonstrated business planning and implementation skills.
* Significant experience in strategic planning : customer strategy % JBP.
* Advanced coaching and development, sales performance management, selling and negotiation skills.
