The Role: Head of Corporate Services
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Head of Corporate Services
to lead and oversee our core corporate functions. This pivotal role will report directly to the Managing Director and work collaboratively with senior leaders to support the effective delivery of our operational and strategic goals.
You will be responsible for managing corporate operations including HR, training, finance, IT, facilities, governance, compliance, and risk management. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in corporate service leadership, looking to make a real impact in the health and social care sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the organisation's corporate services functions to ensure high standards of performance, compliance, and efficiency.
* Develop and implement corporate strategies that align with Invercare's values, mission, and growth plans.
* Oversee budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and risk management processes.
* Ensure robust governance frameworks and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Provide strategic leadership for HR, including recruitment, workforce development, and employee engagement.
* Ensure training delivery across all services is met
* Provide strategic leadership for Finance, Invoicing, payroll.
* Oversee IT and facilities management to support efficient service delivery.
* Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making and organisational development.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a senior management role within corporate services, ideally in the healthcare or social care sector.
* Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
* Sound understanding of governance, compliance, financial management, and HR best practices.
* Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
* Relevant degree or professional qualification in business, management, or related field (CIPFA, CIPD, ACCA, etc., desirable).
