We’re looking for experienced Electricians to support major shipbuilding and industrial installation projects in Glasgow. If you’re passionate about high‑quality electrical work and want to be part of a team delivering large‑scale, technically advanced engineering programmes, this is your opportunity.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Installing a wide range of cables: multi-core, single core, co‑axial
* Fitting electrical systems including junction boxes, fuse panels, consoles, transformers, switches and more
* Terminating cables and installing electrical equipment to high standards
* Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
* Working closely with production teams to deliver safe, efficient installations
* Ensuring all work meets strict safety and quality requirements
What You’ll Bring
* Modern Apprenticeship (SVQ Level 3) or equivalent
* Experience in marine or major industrial installation environments
* Strong understanding of assessments, Risk, PUWER & COSHH
* Ability to interpret trade drawings
* Knowledge of tag‑out processes and proving‑dead procedures
* Skilled in mounting electrical equipment and terminating cables
* Commitment to safe working practices and high‑quality workmanship

* Base salary £37,318.00 per annum for days (There are also other shifts on offer including Weekends and Nights with a 33% shift premium).
* 4 days p/w Mon- Thurs - 7.30 – 4.30
* Friday overtime is at a rate of time and a half (£30.15p/h), then double (£40.20ph)
* Saturday overtime is at a rate of time and a half (£30.15p/h)
* Sunday is double time (£40.20p/h)

About the Electrical Team
You’ll be part of a highly skilled group responsible for installing electrical systems on advanced naval vessels.
