Core Responsibilities Curriculum Excellence: Delivering high-quality practical PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering a broad range of disciplines including invasion games, athletics, gymnastics, and swimming. Academic PE: Teaching the theoretical components of GCSE PE, BTEC Sport, or A-Level Physical Education, focusing on anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and sports psychology. Coaching & Extracurriculars: Leading an extensive "after-school" programme, coordinating fixtures, and coaching school teams in local and regional Birmingham leagues. Inclusion & Engagement: Implementing creative strategies to engage all learners, ensuring that PE is an inclusive space that promotes mental well-being alongside physical fitness. Assessment & Tracking: Monitoring student progress in both practical performance and theoretical understanding, using data to drive improvement and celebrate success.
