Qualified SEN Maths Teacher – Full-Time – South Norw
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Maths Teacher to join a supportive specialist school in South Norwood, South London. This is a full-time role and an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to helping students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) achieve success in mathematics.
The Role:
* Delivering engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students
* Planning and implementing strategies to support students with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and other additional learning needs
* Using creative approaches to make Maths accessible and enjoyable for learners of varying abilities
* Collaborating with teaching assistants and the wider SEN team to ensure positive student outcomes
* Supporting behaviour management and promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Proven experience teaching Maths, ideally within a SEN or alternative provision setting
* Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to individual needs
* Patience, resilience, and a passion for supporting vulnerable learners
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
