You’ll ensure the smooth running of our retirement community by managing our buildings and supporting our residents to live independently in their own homes.
Typical day as a Scheme Manager
* Managing the scheme on behalf of our residents, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.
* Providing visibility, engaging with customers, responding to calls, and creating a warm, safe environment.
* Ensuring communal areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, facilitating social activities.
* Coordinating repairs and maintenance with partner contractors and sourcing local suppliers.
* Signposting residents to relevant services to support their welfare.
* Supporting the sales team with new property vacancies, interviewing potential residents, and welcoming new residents.

You bring
* A passion for excellent customer service and building relationships with diverse backgrounds.
* Knowledge of health and social issues affecting older people.
* Experience in safeguarding and risk assessments.
* Ability to work collaboratively with partners.
* Strong administrative skills managing accounts, budgets, and invoicing.
* A self-starter attitude, organized, proactive, and able to work independently.

Job details
* Flexible working hours may be available—discuss this at interview.
* Primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional evening work to support residents.
* Proficiency with technology for record-keeping, online learning, and collaboration is required.
* An Enhanced DBS check is required, which we will pay for.
