Role overview
Start life as a Residential Support Worker (RSW) by joining our Care Academy – 4 weeks of off‑job training with experienced professionals to build confidence and readiness to support our young people. As a specialist provider of education and care for children with special educational needs, you will support young people with social, emotional and mental health needs to create pathways to become well‑rounded adults.
Responsibilities
* Provide 24/7 care for young people in residential homes
* Ensure they are up and ready for school, assist with homework, complete paperwork and plan activities
* Organise and lead recreational activities in evenings and weekends (e.g., Xbox, football, film day, go‑karting)
* Respond to challenging situations with resilience and empathy
* Support the day‑to‑day running of the home to create a positive environment
Salary & benefits
* Base salary £29,034 – £35,400 per annum
* Up to 4 paid sleep‑ins per month at £80 each (approx. £3,840 per year) and £1,400 attendance allowance assuming good attendance
