Job Title: Sub-Project Manager - Construction Location: Barrow-in-Furness. Salary: Circa £48,000 - depending on skills & experience What you'll be doing: Managing major construction project lifecycles inline with the Facilities master plan Forecasting, controlling, reporting against all commercial and aspects of the project from concept to completion Discharging client duties in accordance with Regulatory requirements Maintaining and managing a safety-focused environment and culture aligned with the high-risk nature of the projects Providing focus to drive projects and work packages Liaising with contractors and multiple stakeholders across all levels of the business Your skills and experiences: Essential: Experience managing complex, major projects of multi-million-pound value Experience in the construction of MEICA projects Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince2 or APMQ) or equivalent experience HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar Desirable: Project management experience with development of plans, business cases and Risk management processes Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts - you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.
