We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic After School Club Assistant to assist the After School Club Supervisor in providing a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment at Broadwindsor Primary School.
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Hours: 3.15pm - 5.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Total hours per week = 6.75
This is a Term Time Only role working 38 weeks per year.
Fixed term appointment.
The successful applicant will need to be able to fully commit to the role.
Responsibilities
* To carry out planned activities under the general guidance, direction and supervision of the After School Club Supervisor.
* Be a member of the team offering high quality after school care provision and attend meetings as appropriate.
* Keep records as directed by the After School Club Supervisor.
* Share responsibility for the care, presentation, display, safety, organisation and appearance of the facilities and equipment.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and any young people in accordance with the school's safeguarding and child protection policy.
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience in supporting wrap around care (breakfast or after school clubs).
* Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
