Payroll Assistant (Hybrid)

I'm working with a well-established client in Glasgow who is looking to add a Payroll Assistant to their dynamic payroll team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a finance background who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Role Responsibilities:
* Processing weekly payrolls and associated invoicing.
* Managing statutory deductions and manual payroll calculations.
* Generating regular payroll reports.
* Resolving payroll-related queries from internal teams and employees.
* Maintaining accurate payroll systems.
* Administering statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.).
What We're Looking For:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident communicator, handles payroll queries professionally
* Problem-solving mindset, comfortable with payroll complexities
* Highly organised, meets tight deadlines under pressure
* Team-focused, proactive and collaborative
* Proficient in Excel, Word, and payroll systems
* Experience with weekly or high-volume payrolls (preferred, not essential)
