Overview
Due to continued growth, the firm is now seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join the hardworking and friendly team at our Portsmouth office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is seeking to develop their administrative career in the legal sector. It is a full-time role ideal for someone with key willingness to support, organised, efficient and able to thrive under pressure. The role holder will need to be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a busy team.
Due to the administrative nature of this role, please note that it will not suit someone with legal qualifications.
Duties to include but not limited to:
* Administrative office work
* General administration support (scanning, data entry, handling incoming and outgoing post)
* Ordering and managing office supplies and equipment
* Manage, organise, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
* Maintain client databases and case management systems with accuracy
* Handling incoming and outgoing payments
* Bundle preparation for court hearings
* Archiving duties
* Supporting the wider legal team with daily tasks
About You:
Previous office experience is desired, but not essential. Litigation, debt recovery and/or insolvency or corporate experience would be advantageous although similar industry experience is just as valuable to us. You will ideally have/be:

· Professional and credible, with the ability to act with discretion and to maintain confidentiality are essential.
* Previous administration experience (legal background is advantageous).
* Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Willing to support colleagues and peers and a genuine ability to support a busy team.
* Able to build relationships at all levels, communicate effectively and build trust.
* Excellent IT skills and high standard of knowledge of computer packages/data management systems.
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.).
