Overview
As a Divisional Clinical Development Nurse (RMN) at Barchester, you’ll lead, support and continuously improve the clinical governance and quality of care for patients in our six Mental Health Hospitals across England. You’ll support the performance of each hospital to ensure the highest clinical standards, review the clinical governance database and KPIs monthly, analyse results and implement practical strategies to meet regulations and continually improve care. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director, improvement specialists and senior clinical staff to drive standards, implement actions, and address issues. Regular travel across the division is essential.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support clinical governance and quality of care across six Mental Health Hospitals.
* Review monthly clinical governance databases and KPIs; analyse results and identify practical improvement actions to meet regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with the Managing Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to implement key actions and improvements.
* Organise training, attract senior clinical staff, and conduct clinical investigations as required.
* Travel regularly within the division to fulfil duties.
About You
* Registered Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
* Evidence of continued professional development; strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
* Experience in a Mental Health Hospital environment; capable clinical mentor for newly-qualified nurses.
* Strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to share knowledge, build relationships and deliver action plans.
