A vibrant primary school in Hayes is seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children in Key Stage 2 to thrive both academically and socially.
Role Responsibilities:
* Support KS2 pupils (Years 3–6) in class, small groups, and on a 1:1 basis.
* Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
* Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs.
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Encourage independence, resilience and confidence in learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children in KS2 (school-based preferred).
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
* A patient, proactive and positive attitude.
* Excellent communication skills with both staff and pupils.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
