Plant and Vehicle Marshal (Traffic Marshal) - HS2 Project

Job Type
Full Time, Ongoing Contract. Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
* Directing the movement of vehicles and plant machinery on site.
* Ensuring safe access and egress for all site traffic.
* Communicating clearly with site operatives, drivers, and plant operators.
* Supporting the logistics and site management team as required.
* Maintaining safety zones and ensuring pedestrian and traffic segregation.
Requirements
* Valid CPCS A73 (Blue Card) – Plant and Vehicle Marshal.
* Previous experience working on a busy construction or engineering project.
* Strong understanding of site safety practices and traffic management.
* Valid UK Driving Licence – site is not easily accessible by public transport.
* Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Desirable
* Additional tickets or certifications (e.g., CSCS, First Aid, Banksman).
* Knowledge of HS2 project standards and procedures.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on site demands.
