Role Summary and Purpose
1. Manage portfolio of claims across various business lines
2. Handle and assess claims in line with the Arch claims philosophy
3. Attend market claims meetings as required
4. Report to Underwriters on claims trends/significant claims as required
5. Liaise with brokers, stakeholders and insureds as required
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
6. Adjust, assess and manage claims within own defined authority
7. Act as referral point and ensure new claims and notifications are dealt with promptly and reported as required
8. Ensure coverage is accurately reviewed and that reserving is correctly set and maintained
9. Manage internal reporting to London claims team
10. Interaction and support of claims management as required
11. Prompt reporting of large losses internally
