Department: Front of House Location: Manchester Compensation: £26,208 / year Description Receptionist – Full Time £26,208 Manchester We have an exciting opportunity for an experience and efficient corporate receptionist who is ready to move into a role will additional facility management responsibilities. You will relish a challenge and be highly organised, managing contractors and providing admin support to the off-site Building Manager. The role is based at a modern office building, ideally located in central Manchester. You will deliver an exemplary tenant and visitor experience, understanding the importance of creating a community vibe in the building. You should be well presented with proven experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role. Hours and salary £26,208 (£12.60 per hour) Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm Key Responsibilities Reception Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects the clients’ and tenants’ expectation Meeting, greeting and registering all visitors to the building, providing exceptional customer service to all Efficiently managing deliveries, including couriers and post General administration, as required Building management You will quickly establish yourself as ‘the face of the building’ and the go to person for questions / queries Work closely with the off-site Building Manager – confidently reporting building issues and helping manage to resolution Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress / maintenance log Develop strong working relationships with the local letting agents and support them by ensuring any vacant office space is kept pristine in preparation for viewings Tenant experience and community engagement Research and deliver relevant initiatives, freebies and services which are of interest to those who work in the building, as and when required Introduce a monthly e-newsletter promoting initiatives and concierge services– helping to create a community vibe Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Proven experience in a front of house reception role and are ready for a new challenge You have facilities management experience (desirable) Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service Self-motivated and thrive in an environment where you are required to multitask Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills Competent Microsoft Office / App / Social Media user and willing to learn in house systems and processes Benefits Company pension Referral programme Wellness scheme, including a 24-hour confidential helpline Company events
