As a Stores Operator, you will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the stores & shipping area.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* Some experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment (e.g., through a summer job, apprenticeship, or work placement) is advantageous but not essential — full training can be provided.
* Basic IT skills and familiarity with inventory or booking-in systems (e.g., ERP or stock management software).
* Ability to safely handle, pack, and store goods.
* Understanding of basic shipping processes (domestic and international).
* Awareness of stock control principles such as FIFO (First In, First Out) and stock rotation.
* Good verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams (Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, etc.) and external suppliers or carriers.
* Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock, documentation, or system entries.
* Good time management and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
* Awareness of health and safety requirements in a warehouse or production environment.
* Willingness to learn and comply with QEHS and IT security procedures.
Desirable Requirements
* Forklift licence (counterbalance or reach truck).
* Basic knowledge of import/export documentation.
* Experience using courier booking portals (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS).
* Awareness of ISO 9001 or similar quality management standards.
