About The Role
We’re on the hunt for a Quantity Surveyor to become an integral part of our innovative and forward-thinking team. This is your opportunity to make a real impact by managing costs across civil engineering projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time and within budget.
What You’ll Do
* Reconcile project costs and values monthly through the CVR process.
* Assess and submit accurate quotations and compensation events.
* Prepare and submit pricing for maintenance contract works.
* Maintain accurate scheme costs in the Nav13 database and resolve queries.
* Prepare and submit payment applications and final accounts on time.
* Manage subcontractor supply chain, including issuing orders, assessing AFPs, and processing payments.
* Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
* Advise on contractual claims, cost overruns, and project scope changes.
* Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and operational staff.
* Attend internal and external meetings (virtual and in-person) to ensure accurate cost data and efficient project delivery.
What We Are Looking For
* Surveying degree or equivalent experience.
* NEC3/4 contract and framework experience.
* Civil engineering/drainage project management, ideally highways.
* Strong Excel, Word, and database skills.
* Self-motivated, organised, and detail oriented.
* Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and teamwork.
* Full UK clean driving licence.
