Job Description: Senior Revit Technician for Energy and Power projects (up to £60k with Hybrid / remote options available)
Our client is a large multidisciplinary design consultancy without offices throughout the UK. They are working on major energy and power frameworks that will keep their expanding teams busy for many years. They are currently looking for experienced Revit technicians to support the Energy and Power networks team. The team provides high-end technical support for companies like National Grid, SSE, and UKPN for large energy infrastructure projects.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive and friendly team, helping to develop and lead in the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design.
Key responsibilities: Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit
Prepare engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information
Work closely with external stakeholders, clients, and colleagues to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes
Use BIM technologies in cloud and managed systems to prepare engineering drawings for conception, planning, tender, building warrant, and construction stages
Manage drafting aspects of projects, actively driving collaboration
Experience / skills and education required: Ideally a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
Experience as a Revit Technician in the power and energy sector, particularly in building structures
Experience producing drawings and models for energy and power projects, such as substations, switching stations, hubs, or heavy industrial projects
Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM templates, and collaborative information management software
Experience with digital platforms like BIM360 and its collaborative modules (training provided)
