Job Description
Astrum Search is working alongside a global FTSE 100 to recruit a new Senior Internal Auditor in London. The role is being recruited following an internal promotion.
The business has performed very well in recent years and continues to go from strength-to-strength. The team is well respected and has a global remit. As such, travel in the region of 30-40% of the time is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work as part of the team to plan and prepare audit projects, ensuring key risks are considered.
2. Delivered audits in line with department and IIA standards.
3. Prepare working papers and present findings to senior management.
4. Write clear and concise audit reports detailing key findings, control weaknesses and and suggested improvements.
5. Follow up with management to address key issues and ensure action is taken on control weaknesses.
Skills & Experience:
6. Hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA preferred).
7. External audit experience essential and internal audit experience highly desirable.
8. Excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong attention to detail.
9. Able to influence and persuade senior stakeholders.
