An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Adult Social Care professional to join the Safeguarding Adults’ Team. We seek a practitioner who is passionate about safeguarding and motivated to develop this area of social work.
The team covers the whole of Norfolk and will require you to manage a complex safeguarding caseload while contributing to the quality and development of the Safeguarding Adults process among the Social Care Community Engagement team and our place‑based teams.
You will provide advice and support at place and to hospital based social care staff, and work closely with service providers; the Integrated Quality Service; Police and Health colleagues; and you will assess staff completing their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) to ensure their competency in safeguarding enquiries.
In addition to case work, you will participate in strategic decision groups, interpret departmental data reports to inform practice quality, contribute to the team’s guidance materials, and deliver presentations to Adult Social Care staff.
You will attend different office locations around the county; travel is essential, and you will attend the MASH office on floor 4 at County Hall daily. A police vetting check is required to access floor 4.
